Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees

What is the Festival of Trees?

The second annual Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum Festival of Trees, sponsored by the Friends of the Museum board, is an event you won’t want to miss!  The festival will consist of trees and wreaths (new this year) decorated by local businesses, clubs and organizations. The decorated trees and wreaths will be on display for the public at the museum beginning December 5.

The event will kick off with a special gala on Thursday, December 5. Filled with music, food, and fellowship. The museum will be open on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7 for the public to view the trees.  A silent auction will be held during the weekend’s events for all decorated trees.

Proceeds from this event will help with funding special exhibits and events at the museum.  We are asking for your help in sponsoring this event.
