The Mississippi Quilt Challenge Exhibition

The Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum is pleased to be hosting The Mississippi Quilt Challenge Exhibition presented by Southern Fiber Artists.  The exhibition showcases 100 quilt panels created by various artists from around the state. The panels depict difference scenes, town, buildings and individuals from Mississippi. Visit the museum to see these amazing pieces of art.

The exhibition will be on display January 2 - January 30 on Tuesdays - Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum 5K Run is a fundraising event aimed at bolstering the Museum's efforts to enhance and modernize the Museum and its exhibits. The race will commence at the Heritage Museum and culminate in the vibrant Cotton District, guiding participants through the rich historical tapestry of Starkville's Historic District, downtown area, and the bustling Cotton District.
